Opal yarn is produced in Germany and is sock knitters favourite yarn. Its mix of 75% wool and 25% polyamide produces an incredibly soft yet strong yarn. One 100g ball produces one beautiful pair of patterned socks � either fair isle or stripey. Each ball comes with a free pattern for a hat or socks.
